Atlantic Coastfor families with babies

Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort is Morocco outside the Club Med template: a 250-hectare estate an hour south of Casablanca near El Jadida, with a Baby Club from 3 months (earlier than Club Med's 4-month minimum), Kidz Club for 4 to 12s, and 7km of Atlantic beach. It suits families who want scale (15 restaurants, interconnecting family rooms, golf if one parent escapes) and verified sub-12-month crèche care without the Club Med G.O. culture. Casablanca airport is 1hr 15min from London with connections, or fly to Marrakech and drive 2hr 30min. The property is isolated by design; you are on-resort for the week, which works with a baby, less so if you wanted daily medina trips. Versus Agadir on the Atlantic coast: Mazagan starts crèche at 3 months; Fairmont Taghazout suits families with toddlers from age 2.

Stay here · Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort

The Baby Club from 3 months is the earliest verified crèche entry on Morocco's Atlantic coast outside niche options, on 7km of sand with interconnecting family rooms and enough restaurant variety that a week on-property does not feel trapped.

Beach reality

Seven kilometres of Atlantic sand on the resort's doorstep, wide and flat at low tide, with sheltered sections for toddler paddling. Surf can run on exposed stretches; stick to the flagged family zones. Sea temperature mirrors Agadir: 18 to 22C depending on season. Resort loungers have shade; bring a UV tent for babies on the sand.

When to go

April to June and September to November for 22 to 28C without August peak heat. Winter (December to February) offers 20 to 24C days and is popular with European families avoiding cold. July and August are hot and busy with Moroccan and French holidaymakers.

Don't go if

Don't go if you want walkable Moroccan towns; El Jadida medina is 15 minutes but the resort is self-contained. Don't go if you need extensive parent-verified crèche feedback; we have less on Mazagan than on Club Med Marrakech. Don't go with a child under 3 months.

A calm 5 day rhythm

Day one, arrive, orient, pool, resort dinner. Day two, Baby Club 9 to 12, beach 4pm, repeat. Day three, pool and beach rhythm. Day four, optional El Jadida Portuguese cistern visit (30 minutes, carrier not buggy). Day five, depart. Pre-register Baby Club age and feeding requirements at booking.
